When I first heard about Project Africa I was touched by the children we would be helping, astounded by of the scale of the project and moved by the knowledge that we would be building a library. I thought, “How can I possibly make a difference to something so huge?”
Then I heard about the Project Africa Shoe Appeal, so simple, all I needed to do was donate £1.00. I thought this is the way I can make a difference. This is the way we can all make difference! I have children that I adore, they have been lucky enough never to go without a pair of shoes. There is so much I believe we can do by coming together to help the children at the Island School and I am committed to being a part of Project Africa and to help in any way I can.
